Pinarello

PURCHASE RULES AND TERMS FROM JANUARY 1, 2021 - FOR PINARELLO BICYCLES

As the exclusive Hungarian distributor and brand representative of the Pinarello brand since 1999, the Biondo Bike bicycle shop has introduced the following new rules and considers them valid from 01.01.2021:

I. Every new Pinarello bicycle purchased from us comes with a warranty covering both the frame and components. The manufacturer provides a lifetime warranty on Pinarello framesets registered after September 15, 2026. Frame warranty claims must be submitted to the retailer where the bicycle was purchased and are valid only for the original owner. For components other than the frameset, a two-year warranty applies; however, this is provided not by Pinarello S.L.R. but by the manufacturer of the defective part—in accordance with applicable regulations—though claims regarding these parts must still be processed through the dealership where the bicycle was purchased (and remain valid only for the original owner). An exception is made for MOST-branded components, which also carry a two-year warranty, but—like the frames—this is backed by Pinarello S.L.R. There are four key conditions for claiming the warranty.

  • The first condition concerns intended use; the parameters and details regarding this can be found at www.pinarello.com and in the documentation accompanying the bicycle (or frameset)—documentation that every customer receives upon taking delivery of the bicycle. We wish to emphasize that accidents or any damage not resulting from a material defect are naturally excluded from the scope of the warranty and are not subject to any warranty claim procedures.
  • The second condition is the registration of the bicycle via the www.pinarello.com website following the necessary account registration—a step that is always the customer's responsibility and obligation. Upon delivery of the bicycle, we send an email providing guidance on how to correctly complete the registration process. The frame must be registered within 30 days of the date of purchase; this is a prerequisite for claiming the lifetime warranty.
  • The third condition is the possession of an invoice, receipt, or any official proof of purchase. Retaining and safeguarding this document is also the customer's responsibility.
  • For any Pinarello product purchased from us, the warranty may only be claimed through us.

II. Delivery, payment and refund conditions, as well as the most important criteria related to this topic.

  • when ordering a bicycle, we communicate the provisional delivery time intervals specified by the manufacturer to our customers. Accordingly, we cannot take responsibility for any delay or for delivery other than the previously indicated delivery date - as we have no influence on this.
  • We try to inform everyone correctly about possible slippages/changes in the delivery time, but we do not assume any financial or other responsibility for this. You can find out more about these under the Online and Offline purchase guide menu item.
  • In the case of bicycles and frames, you can find out about the possible repayment or non-repayment of the deposit or part of the purchase price, as well as the rules for withdrawing from the purchase or excluding this withdrawal, as well as the exact legal regulatory framework of these under the General Terms and Conditions menu item.
  • warranty and other issues can also be found under the General Terms and Conditions menu item.
  • you can also find information about payment terms and options under the Online and Offline shopping guide menu item.

III. Frame part and support for Pinarello bikes.

  • due to the rampant black market and the significant amount of stolen, fake, bad condition, untraceable bikes imported from abroad and offered for sale as original Pinarello, from 01.01.2021 we can only provide any kind of help, information, assembly and maintenance assistance, as well as parts and accessories for Pinarello frames (e.g. chain guide, derailleur slipper, etc.) for newly purchased bikes from us. Pinarello only sells its products through its own reseller network, and each reseller is responsible for what they have sold! Therefore, the prerequisite for any kind of support is a warranty e-mail and invoice, receipt, or some official document proving the previous purchase of the bicycle from us. In the absence of these, or for bicycles not from us, we are unable to provide frame parts or provide information under any circumstances, and - of course - this also includes the installation, assembly and maintenance of the bicycles.
  • of course, if you have the warranty e-mail or the document confirming the purchase, and these prove beyond all doubt that the bicycle comes from us, or that the buyer requests help with the bicycle listed on them, then we will provide the necessary assistance for these even in the case of second-hand bicycles at the prices indicated on our pages. This means that we provide support not only to those who have newly purchased the bicycle in question from us, but also to those who later purchase it as a used product and have a warranty e-mail proving its origin from us and an official document confirming the purchase.
  • of course, this support does not apply to the warranty procedure, it can only be used by the first owner, so the product is guaranteed only and exclusively for the first owner. You can find information about the warranty conditions in point I.
  • other Pinarello-brand clothing and other accessory products not related to Pinarello frames are available to anyone without restrictions.
