PURCHASE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FROM JANUARY 1, 2021 - FOR WILIER TRIESTINA BIKES

Since 1999, the Biondo Bike bicycle shop has been the exclusive Hungarian distributor and brand representative of the Wilier Triestina (hereinafter: Wilier) brand in the introduced the following new rules and considers them valid from 01.01.2021:

I. Every new Wilier bike purchased from us comes with a frame and parts warranty. The manufacturer gives a 5-year warranty for bicycles with carbon frames and carbon frame sets, for bicycles with aluminum and steel frames, this warranty interval is 2 years. The frame warranty can be claimed at the distributor where the bicycle was purchased and is only valid for the first owner. When buying a bicycle, there is a 2-year warranty for parts other than the frame set, but this is not the case with the Pinarello S.L.R. undertakes, but in accordance with the applicable legislation, the manufacturer of the defective part, for which the warranty claim can also be asserted through the dealership where the bicycle was purchased - still for the first owner. There are four key conditions for validating the guarantee.

  • the first of these, intended use, the parameters and explanation of which can be found on www.wilier.com and in the description for the bicycle (or frame set) - this description is given to everyone upon receipt of the bicycle. We would like to highlight here that an accident or any damage not caused by a material defect is of course not covered by the warranty, so they are not covered by any warranty procedure.

  • the second condition, the warranty e-mail, which we also do on behalf of everyone else when taking over the bike via the www.wilier.com website, and which the buyer is responsible for storing and keeping.

  • the third condition is the existence of an invoice, receipt or any official acknowledgment of the purchase. It is also the buyer's responsibility to store and preserve it.

    The warranty can only be enforced through us for all Wilier products purchased from us.

II. Delivery, payment and refund conditions, as well as the most important criteria related to this topic.

  • When ordering a bicycle, we communicate the provisional delivery time intervals specified by the manufacturer to our customers. Accordingly, we cannot take responsibility for any delay or for delivery other than the previously indicated delivery date, as we have no influence on this.

    We try to inform everyone in a correct way about possible slippages/changes in the delivery time, but we do not take any financial or other responsibility for this. You can find out more about these under the Online and Offline purchase guide menu item.

  • In the case of bicycles and frames, you can find information about the possible repayment or non-repayment of the deposit or advance, as well as the rules for withdrawing from the purchase or excluding this withdrawal, as well as their exact legal regulatory framework, under the General Terms and Conditions menu item.

III. Frame part and support for Wilier bikes.

  • due to the rampant black market and the significant amount of stolen, fake, bad condition, untraceable history and bicycles imported from abroad in various ways and offered for sale as original Wilier, from 01.01.2021 any help, information, or parts and accessories for Wilier frames ( e.g. cable guide, derailleur holder slipper, etc.) we can only provide for bicycles newly purchased from us. The prerequisite for any such support is a warranty e-mail and invoice, receipt, or some official document proving the previous purchase of the bicycle from us. In the absence of these, or for bicycles not from us, we are unable to provide frame parts or provide information under any circumstances. Of course, if you have the warranty e-mail or the document confirming the purchase, and these prove beyond any doubt that the bicycle comes from us, or that the buyer is asking for help with the bicycle listed on them, then this also applies to second-hand bicycles we provide the necessary assistance at the prices indicated on our pages. This means that we provide support not only to those who have newly purchased the bicycle in question from us, but also to those who later purchase it as a used product and have a warranty e-mail proving its origin from us and with the official document confirming the purchase.

  • of course, this support does not apply to the warranty procedure, it can only be used by the first owner, so the product is guaranteed only and exclusively for the first owner. You can find information about the warranty conditions in point I.

  • of course, the above restriction applies to the support and frame parts and accessories attached to Wilier bicycles. Other Wilier-brand clothing and other accessory products not related to Wilier frames are available to anyone without restrictions.
