The Soot 50 looks like a cyclocross bike – aluminum frame with more classic exterior cues, Kellys Soot 30 has ram handlebars and an aluminum frame, comfortable geometry and good looks. The Soot 50 is a more than interesting experiment to see what can be done with this object called a bicycle, and actually what interesting and versatile tools we can create from the meeting of certain areas of use.
MOST IMPORTANT: WHAT MATERIAL IS IT MADE OF?
The other grouping point is that a carbon fiber fabric has a high modulus, is strong, or is capable of high resistance. The former are very stiff and light, the latter are extremely resistant and more flexible. You cannot build a frame that is light, rigid and suitable for racing at a serious level without the dominant use of the former! However, without the latter, frame production does not exist.
Wilier works with Mitsubishi carbon and its own developed premium fabrics, and it uses fabrics jointly dreamed up with several manufacturers. Kellys does not use these fabrics, but it is suitable as a starting point for a broader orientation.
